Part A: The girls decide to pay a visit to Io's place as Tsumiki's air conditioner gets broken. However, Mayoi and Sakaki are still held by the task of finishing up their homework, and urges the others to not worry about them and have some fun by themselves, despite their behavior says otherwise.
Part B: The gang attends the summer festival together, facing several humorous situations as they try some of its attractions. Io wins at the candy-cutting and fish catching. After this, Io wins a plush bird for Tsumiki at another booth.

- In one of the scene in Part B where Io plays in candy-cutting, he use his finger instead of thumb tack. Oddly, by simply touching a candy, it creates a high school girl playing her guitar (which is not listed on the list to do) and he awarded 10,000 points.
- Interestingly, the design is closely resembles Yui Hirasawa from K-On! series.
- Another link between series’s, albeit not intended, is how Sakaki describes Io’s method of candy cutting. He said it was done by “directing the force you put into it”. Io’s japanese voice actor, Nobuhiko Okamoto, also voiced Accelerator in the Toaru series. Accelerator’s ability was ”Vector manipulation”, or the ability to alter any force that has a direction.
